When I realized there was nothing to prevent me from eating Count Chocula for dinner. For a week straight.
I also learned I was depressed. Those two things may be related.
Walking away sometimes is the strongest decision you can make. Stop fighting for spaces that drain you, people who make you question your worth, and approval that should never have to be begged for. Protecting your peace is not selfish, it is finally realizing that your heart, energy, and happiness deserve protection too.
