Besides “Orland”, I also write short stories hosted on AO3 because I have nothing better to do than create even more fantastical and difficult to consistently draw characters.
I’ve always had an interest in folklore, but especially North American based folklore since its a giant melting pot of lore that’s rarely used in fiction–which tends to borrow from European/Old World traditions. I also want to study folklore outside of Indigenous traditions since I doubt I could do it justice. America has its own ideas about the fae folk and we should promote that! (This includes cryptids, the modern version of that)
